When you want a wide variety of brands and choices as well as an affordable price........ Don't go here. This place is like the corner store of grocery stores. Poor selection and higher prices are found here in great abundance. If you like your grocery store to be a little dirty and poorly lit with a slight creepy factor, this is definitely your place.

I have shopped at this store for more than 20 years. The same pharmacists have been in the pharmacy inside the store for that time. The store appears to be struggling as it's inventory selection shrinks and it tries to hide large empty spaces. The competition between grocery stores in Norman right now is fierce. Homeland has good produce when they have what you want. Their butcher case has shrunk by half and the prices are comparable to other stores on meats. They have a deli and some pre-prepared foods to take home. I could do all of my shopping at Homeland but the cost of their products is substantially higher in some cases and I simply cannot afford to spend a third again the cost of the product. It makes me sad because I've gone to homeland for so long, and I know so many of the employees who have been there for decades. But really the only reason I've shopped there is because of the pharmacy. they are sharp as nails, they catch mistakes, they have good information, they have never let me down. When the pharmacy, or those pharmacists in particular leave, I won't go to Homeland anymore.

This is a great store to shop at but it is a bit more expensive than other places for the same goods. They do have a frequent shopper program that is free to join and it will save you a lot of money if you join. It seems as if everything in the store has two prices, 1 for those that are members and 1 for those that aren't. Trust me, it pays to join. One membership can be used for the entire household. The member can hold on to the cards while the others can simply give the cashier the members phone number to look up the account. The store itself has a large variety to choose from and they have a better selection than other stores.

Great store with great customer service for last 3 years and they always have my favorite drink in stock!!! It's hard to find and I'm grateful! This store is on top of keeping things in stock as well as always being helpful and friendly.
