It's okay. Not much to do if you're not camping

A true low key natural beauty and fun gem!nSome of the facilities are a little older and slightly run down, but staff keep the property immaculate.nAbout a 5 hour drive from Houston... great for a long camping weekend. Highly recommended for families. If you bring kids... Don't forget to bring life jackets for kids.nI will recommend to friends.nAnother plus, most signage is in English and Spanish.

A very beautiful natural spot for picnic and relaxing . This has awesome waterfall and breathtaking scenery of trees and greenery. It changes colours in fall season and becomes more and more beautiful.nIt also has tables and areas for group eating and team activities where you can play various sports. Also, there is small trekking area besides waterfall, but it is somewhat risky. So try with supervision.nBesides waterfall, there is small castle which gives you memories of ancient culture. But it is just remains of once prosperous castle. You can just click photos and have some nice time.nI have visited it 2 times. First in fall season when it has awesome beauty and second time after fall when most of the leaves are fallen, but still it is one of the beautiful places to hangout. You must visit this waterfall for a day out.

Beautiful place! Hiking around the falls is pretty steep but the view from up there is worth it! Plenty of area to swim or wade along the River. I took a group of kids and they had a blast with the water slide and diving board. It’s a little expensive to get in if you’ve got a lot of people but worth it for a fun day trip!nnGet there early to make sure you get decent parking. They have a shuttle but it wasn’t running the day we went. If you’re going to take a picnic lunch or cooler with drinks know that it is a little walk up to the swimming area with the falls from the parking lot so you may want to keep it in your cooler and walk back to eat or make sure you bring a cooler with wheels.nnOverall, highly recommend!
