We stopped at Vans on Weds about 12:30, drove all the way through town to get there off I-35. I guess the chopped brisket meal i got would of been ok, but everything was cold. Also they were out of the Rubin we ordered. The little girl running the register was nice. Another lady in the kitchen seemed loud and rude. Theres no excuse for serving cold food. I wont bother going there again.
Who leaves the membrane on the back of the ribs when smoking? Van's does and the ribs were also dry. The side of beans were mushy and watery. The fries were cold and soggy with grease. Just a bad dining experience.
Go here if you want great BBQ and better customer service!
I'm from Shawnee so I've been eating Van's my whole life, but tonight was just so good! Way to keep your product great!!!
Delicious food and the older gentleman that helped us was the nicest person. Throughout our first visit he continued to check on us and made sure everything was going well. Definitely will go back next time I'm passing through and highly recommend it to anyone who loves good BBQ. If you've been to Orlando its similar to 4Rivers.
