when I first bought my car about a year ago I did not give this place a very good review. it was a very frustrating buying experience, with my first car I picked out blew a motor the first day and it seemed that every other car I picked out, they did not have a title for. I realize now that part of that was due to the pandemic. now, they have been wonderful. I lost my job and my husband around the same time and it got to the point I was about two months behind in my payments. The employees especially Melissa...at least I'm pretty sure that was her name was so understanding and went above and beyond to help me. they let me pay the interest on the 4 payments I was behind and gave another 3 weeks to get my life back together and told me to call them if I was still having issues. This kindness totally changed my life. i am now caught up and back on track. Thank you Carmart Altus for working with me and giving me a chance. I would definitely buy from you again

Well I had a great buying experience friendly experience and sadly my vehicle I got wasn’t up to par and reliable for my work had to test out there 3 day 100% satisfaction guaranteed and that’s when the problem started completely different attitude from the manager she told me to go see a mechanic and the mechanic she sent me too found even more stuff wrong and said the vehicle wasn’t up to par and so I traded in she was completely rude she didn’t talk to us the rest of the time she had somebody else finish up our deal on trading in a new car which also had some unseen deals as in they say if it’s same value or less but they don’t tell you is that if it’s Even only $700 more you have to pay the complete down price of the vehicle my buying experience was OK but the 100% satisfaction Guaranteed bad vibes all over especially coming from the manager herself she made me and my wife feel uncomfortable the whole time we’ll see how this car dose

I miss the old Manager Charity. The new manager is a piece of work. I am absolutely disappointed in this car company. A month after covid hit we were one day late and they threatened to tow our car. Well after a scathing review corporate called and apologized and said that if we ever needed help again paying our car note that they would find a way to help us. Well we were lucky May June and July we were able to find work and pay our car note on time. However, we've been going through covid since March and we both have had to find new jobs. We are in the middle of saving up for an apartment living out of a hotel and we were not going to be able to pay the full car note on time we paid three-quarters of it and we're going to need to pay the last little bit the following week. Mind you we only owe 20% left on the car. They decided to give us a hard time again. So instead of having gas and food money we paid the full amount due, so they would not take the only thing we have to get to and from work. These people do not care. They don't have any compassion all they care about is the money. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I will NEVER buy a car through them again.

I did not personally buy a car from Car-Mart but was assisting my friend in purchasing a vehicle. They were very friendly and were able to help her to get the best deal they could. After already being there since 3:15, Kim stayed with us well past 6:00 to help my friend get insurance so she could drive off the lot with her new car she just bought. The ladies in the office also helped keep my friend's 2 year old entertained when she was getting restless. They work hard to help those that are in need.
