H&R Block in Altus is a joke doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! The older lady that works in there is rude and has absolutely no idea what she is doing! On her wall it said she’s been working for 15+ years but honestly you are better off doing it yourself, you can google basic tax questions just as well as she can. Definitely don’t recommend paying them to do them just to have to worry about getting in trouble for them being done wrong!nnThey charged us $75 just to get our w-2s and paperwork back because we didn’t feel safe to do it that way even though they did absolutely nothing!nTAKE YOUR TIME & MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Rude, unprofessional and held marginal tax law knowledge. After being charged an excessive amount we were given a 'discount' to a price that was still too much...only to have our taxes done wrong after all. Upon returning to discuss the mistakes we were told that it 'may have been caught' and we shouldn't worry. A further refund was discussed but was only talk. We received a letter discussing a gift certificate with nothing included. When questioned we were rudely told that we received our discount not and nothing further would be given regardless of the mistakes. I will drive out of my way to never return to this H&R Block location, I suggest you do the same.
