Very friendly folks! They seem like great folks for livestock processing. We took 2 calves in and they were very helpful at unloading and taking our cutting order. I teach during the week so being able to drop off on a Sunday afternoon was very helpful. I look forward to testing the final product, here in a couple of weeks.
We picked up a half beef that was processed at Tucker's. It was a quick pickup of meat with everything very well frozen. The meat is vacuum sealed and looks beautiful! Looking forward to buying from Tucker's in the future.
Unfortunately after receiving our deer meat that they processed. We couldn’t use any of the ground meat because it was full of gristle. We specified that we wanted steaks and cube steak and we did not receive that. We only received large leg roast which we’ve had to cut down ourselves. This processing unfortunately was not worth the money.
and I will add to my previous review that there was grass and hair sealed in the pkgs of meat. This was the roast that was supposed to be cubed steak or at least smaller steak portions. $125.00 wasted in my opinion.
Not accustomed to going to a butcher place and being handed frozen meat. We already touched the frozen packages and were shocked that we were given frozen meat. We could have just gone to a regular grocery store and picked out the meat we wanted that was fresh for cheaper. Update! We grilled them medium rare and they were tough. They were not the ribeyes instead they were New York strips. Not cool, guys.
