Beautiful area on the blue ridge parkway. A few trails in the area.
A good look at how people lived not too long ago. Very well preserved homestead. Easy walk.
Love visiting this cabin at night. If you're ever on the parkway at night around this area I highly recommend visiting it. Great spooky factor!
You will enjoy the cool mountain air. This stop was very interesting but you can only see the the windows. There are several buildings and information that tells you about the family and the life they had back in the 1800.nVery interesting
After several hours traveling north on the BRP, the Brinegar Cabin was a wonderful place to take a break and look around.
