Emberglow Outdoor Resort

Just finished up a wonderful 4 day stay at Emberglow...really nice property with great amenities. The property is new and so the areas that have been cultivated are still maturing, but the quality of construction and cleanliness of facilities more than makes up for it. Our family spent the entire stay on the grounds of the property and never ran out of things to do, and that was even before the pool was opened for the season. I recommend calling and talking to the staff about site selection, there are nuances that are hard to gather from the map. Thank you for a wonderful week Emberglow!!

Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. My kids (3 and 6) and I booked a last minute weekend camping trip to just get out of the house. Campground is a little less than 2 hours from Fort Mill, SC and 15-20 min from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We camped on primitive tent site 62, which is the one closest to the bathhouse. The primitive tent sites are walk in so you will have to haul in your camping equipment. This is not at all an inconvenience as the campground provides wagons in the parking lot which is was extremely helpful...a very short walk from the parking lot to tent sites. The kids had a blast playing in the stream which flows through the campsite, enjoyed the playground, trails, and jump pad... this place has it all! The staff was extremely helpful and kind... even delivered firewood to our camp site. Bathhouse is modern and clean. The owners have crafted a beautiful campground. We’ll definitely be back.

grandkids came down, they had a blast playing in the creek,the pool wasn't open yet for the season,they also loved the jumping pad and the playgrounds. We enjoyed the peace and quietness. The owners are wonderful people and friendly, that goes a long ways these days! Our site was big and plenty of space.

We camped with some friends and had a great weekend! As tent campers, we really appreciated that the bathhouse was warm (it was November) and extra clean! Everyone was friendly and they have lots of options for your stay. We can’t wait to return and try some other accommodations. It’s the perfect staycation if you live nearby and want to get away without breaking the bank or traveling too far.

The 30’ yurt was awesome. My kids (7 & 5) loved the woods and playground. Chimney rock and lake lure are close and fun to visit.
