Rutherford Mountain Campground

Very nice campground and RV resort . Salt water pool and clean campsites. Has bathhouse and a ingrown saltwater pool. Close to I 40 and chimney rock.priced very fairly

Do not go here!! Thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights! Pool was green, not even open obviously. Bath house was not that clean. No laundry! Owner was ok, not the best, not the worst. No wifi, no cable. Gravel road was hideous to travel into campground, and the signage or should I say lack thereof was awful. Just do yourself a favor and book some where else.

I’ve been camping at a lot of campgrounds. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had!!!! Terrible hospitality! We booked three nights and left after the first. Couldn’t get out of there soon enough!!!! It was gross! DO NOT CAMP HERE!!!!

We camp here twice a month, rain or shine. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. There is a lovely inground pool which is amazing during the summer and the bathrooms have a shower as well! There's tons of open space and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! Its out of the way, so it's usually not crowded. A great place for a romantic getaway or just to unwind.

Very quiet and family friendly. We most definitely will be back next year.
