Lake Junaluska Campground

Perfect location! Not far away from Waynesville, and 5 minutes from Smoky Mountain Event Center. Nice bathrooms, well made and well kept campsites. Clean water and electric! Cheap stay. Highly friendly staff, I made friends with Frank and definitely plan on making another stop here in the future. 5 stars! (Message to other campers - please LEAVE NO TRACE these good people do not need to clean up after you.)

Staff were welcoming! We stayed for 1 night and had no issues or complaints. The amenities are basic and no frills but slept comfortably and enjoyed the convenience in location.

Beautiful area, great place to walk and explore.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bath house was old, run down, dirty and not sanitized. We could hear the cars on the road from our campsite. We were disappointed for the price.

Good value for overnight stay, full hookups with cable TV $38.85 per night. Very nice staff, Laura and Joe Glass were helpful when we had a electrical problem on Sunday. We actually left earlier than originally planned because of our electrical problems.nThe location of the campground is convenient to many different activities, including the blue ridge parkway and smoky mountain national park and the lake itself is beautiful with nice walking trails.
