Really good food, friendly staff. It's too easy to drive by and miss this little place. I just had a grilled pimento cheese on sourdough with a side of fried green tomatoes. The sandwich was a delight and the tomatoes were that perfect kind of crispy batter over fresh juicy tart green tomato. I usually don't do desert, but I was advised to try the fried oreos... before you wince, think of funnel cake, and that's the hint I'm going to give and then advise you to go for it!

Food - 4⭐nFriendliness -5⭐nAtmosphere -3.5⭐nCleanliness - 4⭐nnMinus 1⭐nCooks: 3 were not wearing masks. Waitress mask not covering their noses. Cashier no mask.nnI will not be going back. It seems the health of their customers is not their concern.nnThere are too many other good cafe options to choose from.nBut if you think the pandemic is a hoax, this is a great places to go.

First time we ate here it was good and we couldn't believe what we had been missing out on but the second time was just alright, we gave them a third go at breakfast and it was good but our fourth and final visit was certainly the very last. The waitress placed the ice bin on the dirty floor to scoop ice into and that is a health code violation. I realize those bins get heavy and are hard to hold but you have to find a way to make it work without placing it on the dirty floor. The service was just all around awful and slow we felt like a bother to the waitress and generally unwelcomed and when our food came out it wasn't even worth eating. I like supporting small, local places like this and it's a shame this is one to cross off the list.

This place never disappoints. Always great Southern food, smiling faces and friendly staff. I love the daily specials and their fried green tomatoes are the best I've had in Waynesville!nnThey even fed children for free when the pandemic started. This is my absolute favorite local business!
