Andrew was amazing. He knew how to get the deep knots in my shoulders. I’m glad I added the cups because it was the best combination and I left there in bliss. It’s hard to find someone that can read your body and the pressure he used was perfect. I’m hooked.

I had a float a few days ago, very relaxing. Easy experience with reception and scheduling was quick and easy. Will return for more relaxation. Thanks!

I have had a lot of massages. The one I had at Floating Shanti was decent, but overpriced. I have only floated a few other times, all in the pod-style tank. If you are looking for a sensory deprivation experience (which is what they advertise), this is not the place for you.nnTheir float rooms are definitely NOT sound proof. I don't wear hearing aids...yet...but I do have some hearing loss. So, if I say the room is not soundproof, it isn't. They do have excellent wax earplugs, which I used, but I could still vaguely hear people talking, louder when floating (ears under water) than if I sat up. It would go quite, I would get into the groove, and then I would hear talking again...and again...nnAlso, the room was probably 2 degrees cooler than the tank. I know, that doesn't sound like a lot, but when the idea is sensory deprivation and your body above the water is a couple of degrees cooler, it is noticeable and not what I would call sensory deprivation.nnThe shower had VERY low water pressure and never got hot, only luke-warm. When you finish your float, shower and dry off...there is no chair or stool to use when getting dressed. The rooms I used seemed cheaply built. For the price I expected more.nnIf you like the place, you better go a lot. Otherwise I don't think they will last very long!

Amazing place! I booked a 1 hour massage and a 1 hour float back to back. That is the order I would choose to do again. The massage was great and the therapist took time to listen to me and cater the massage to my needs. The float was a extremely peaceful experience. Can't wait to go back.

The float tank is NOT soundproof as it should be. I could easily hear whether a man or woman was speaking during all 3 of my float experiences here. It kind of ruins the point of the float if it's not quiet. But it's clean, friendly staff, and has a nice aesthetic.nn**Edit**nnI have done two floats while pregnant and one postpartum (about a month ago). My mother-in-law (they made her use her name for some reason ) bought the most recent one along with a massage. My current last name starts with an 'S' and my husband has also done a float here (initials KS). Additionally, both my husband and I told the owner, who is female (for validity purposes), that it is not sound proof or light proof when they first opened. They have since added a blackout curtain.nnAlso, I have now had two massages here. One prenatal and one postpartum (the week before my last float). The last one was great and very deep tissue by an older lady with a thick southern accent.nnI hope that this clears things up for the validity of my review.
