It was 2 years ago when I was as rushed to the emergency room at Cape Fear Hospital. Turns out I needed to go to another hospital. They flew me by helicopter to Duke for emergency surgery. The team on that helicopter were wonderful. I can't thank them enough for how well they took care of me. The team that was working around midnight on the night of March 2017 and flew me to Duke. Deserve a bonus. Thank you so much for all that you did.
I had a nightmare experience in the er! I was there because of elevated blood sugar. The staff was friendly and all, but the waiting area was another story. There were homeless people and mentally ill people wandering around the area. I got called back in about two minutes only to be sent back out and wait from 10:00pm until 3:00am. No medication given, no further instructions given, and nothing to lower my blood sugar, told to see my family doctor. Seriously?ud83eudd2cud83eudd2cud83eudd2cud83eudd2cud83eudd2cud83eudd2c
