I picked this hotel solely because it was the closest to a marathon that I was running in Greenville. Some problems admittedly were not their fault, while some were. The first issue was when I tried to check in. No one was there to check us in. We rung the bell and called the phone for 15 minutes. Eventually someone came in the back door and checked me in. Apparently they aren’t required to actually be at work when they are working. As everyone else says, the water is brown and gross. I understand that’s not their fault. I was still willing to soak in brown water after the race. Unfortunately, the mat in the tub floated up with the water and exposed a ton of adhesive and mold. The bower motor on the fan was so loud that it was unusable. The walls are paper thin and their clientele are the loudest inconsiderate people in the world. It’s only 60$ a night and it would still be a rip off at half the price. I would not recommend anyone stay there. I will not stay again if I go back to the marathon again next year.

This was the absolutely worst place I have ever stayed. The room was obviously not cleaned, the furniture was disgusting, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling into the tub. The water was brown, see photos for more.

Disaster. Got to our room and someone was sleeping in it. The whole town was booked solid and it was 10pm. So we drove a couple more hours to find a place for the night.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life, but this one had to be one of the worst. First of all the front desk lady wasn't very nice, she wasn't completely rude either; it was more all business don't ask questions and get out of my face kind of feel. I get it it's 8 pm you're tired or whatever, but at least let us ask our questions.nWhen we got into the room it was DIRTY. I'm pretty sure it wasn't even cleaned. The fridge smelled gross, the microwave had food splattered all over it, and the toilet still had pee on it. No to mention the water was brown.nnIf you're looking for a hotel this one is NOT it, you'll thank me later.

The room and the customer service was great however the bedding and the bed was horrible. The king size bed is what my wife and I chose however the bedding had massive burn holes, mattress sunk in and made our bodies ache horribly.
