We really enjoyed our stay at Fernwood Forest. Campsites were clean and the tent area was very nice and wooded. The bathrooms were a little bit of a hike from the tent area, but there was a closer Port-a-Potty. I didn't use the Port-a-Potty, but the bathrooms were super clean, which is especially important to me during the COVID-era. Location was easy to find with a lake across the street with beach access. Close to lots of other Berkshire area attractions. Friendly and super accommodating hosts, but camp store was closed due to pandemic. Only downside was that quiet time didn't really seem enforced - we were both kept up late by loud groups and awoken early by other loud groups. But we really enjoyed our weekend there and we'll definitely stay again next time we go to the Berkshires in the summer! Totally recommended!

I stayed at a tent site Sunday night with a friend! We took a trip to the Berkshires to hike and we couldn't be more pleased with the campground. The bathhouse was super clean and during this time of COVID I felt completely comfortable using the bathroom and showers. The campground itself was great and everyone there was super friendly. Would highly recommend!

Fernwood Forest is a chill, well-maintained campgrounds. We were there during the week in early July and it was very calm, but I imagine it's a bit more hectic on the weekends when they're fully booked up. Most people appear to be seasonal RVs living there for the summer, so they're respectful and responsible. Our tent site was well-sized and separated from the other sites, making for easy social distancing. The tent sites are about a 5 min walk from the real bathrooms, but there is a port-a-potty nearby. The campgrounds are dog-friendly, you just need to keep your pup on a tie-out or leash (which can be as long as you want, unlike some places) and provide rabies vax records. The owners seemed very nice and happy to help with anything we might need. About a 10-15 min drive to supermarket/etc and several trailheads. We will definitely be back!

NEBDR friendly! They were so nice and accommodating and great rate on a group site.

Campsites are lovely. Nicely spaced. Appears to be 90% seasonals which means the whole place looks lovely with gardens and yard decorations. Very friendly owners and campers. Nice recreation areas, playgrounds, and bathhouse very clean.
