We arrived here in the late afternoon and were greeted kindly by the staff. This is such a beautiful setting that one has to just stop and appreciate the hard work of our forefathers had to endure just to survive. The history and cleanliness of the grounds is inviting to any history buff or average curious passerby. I highly recommend this place.

Lots of fun. Everyone was so nice! Will come back for one of their special events for sure!

We picked a great day to visit. As a history buff, walking through and amongst the old homes and buildings was like walking back in time. Volunteers were even on hand dressed in period clothes to offer extra insight. The guided tour of the main house where the Boone's lived was especially interesting since we get a preset idea of how they lived in the history books. The guide we had was very helpful. Also nice to see precautions in place for COVID.

We had a great time at the Daniel Boone Home after stumbling into it by accident. The small crowd was very well managed for social distancing with a tour that has been modified for health concerns. Now, a live interactive discussion is held at the beginning of the tour, followed by very small group self-guided walking tours of the house. ($8 for adults)nThere are several other buildings on the grounds, including a lovely chapel and a sawmill. Our walk around the grounds was very peaceful and relaxing. Well worth the stop and price of admission.nThey also have a banquet facility for weddings.

This place is stunning, the backdrop is surreal. We went during reenactment so we got to experience the Daniel Boone homestead in period dress. Such an experience a step back in time! The reenactment folk were so informative & engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here today!!
