We just needed a place to stay in our RV for a week between booked reservations …what a nice week we had at Smith Point. The owner was helpful and nice. Very clean laundry room. My wife rented a kayak one morning which she loved. Very quiet and peaceful and we had fantastic neighbors. We learned to catch and cook crabs from Matt and we learned about dolphins from “the dolphin girls” from Georgetown University staying there. Definitely off the grid and not for everyone but it was perfect for us!
Had some engine trouble in the middle of a Cruise up the bay. Smith point was the closest marina by about 20 miles. Pulled in the the owner diagnosed and fixed in about 20 minutes. Great people and wonderful service.
We only stayed for 2 nights but found the employees and the owner very helpful very nice clean campground
Great place with good people
Good dock spot! The way to Tangier was very serene.
