Woodforest National Bank

I went in to purchase a money order today and was greeted with the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time by no less, the branch manager, Jamie Bailey. Not familiar with purchasing a money order at this bank (inside the Walmart at the Pocomoke location) I waited about 5 minutes when I saw him walk from the printer and begin the process of what looked like him printing another money order. I asked him, ‘what happened, did you make a mistake?’ His response, ‘It wasn’t my fault, it was the machine.’ I figured, okay, no problem stuff happens right? I ignored his tone. I checked my watch again and it was nearly another 3-5 minutes (we started at about 1:15 and it’s nearly 1:30) So I asked, what are you doing, is there something wrong? His tone was then annoyance, ‘you asked me to print a money order didn’t you, what do you think I’m doing? I asked why the attitude, I was neither rude or disrespectful to you, I have right to ask a question I didn’t know if you were putting my address on it, I don’t know your process. Why are you being disrespectful to me? His response, ‘look, do you want your money back (once again, the disrespectful tone)? No, I don’t, but I have the right to ask questions without the attitude Sir. He continues to speak to me in a condescending manner and I ask for the branch manager. He hands me a business card with his name. I then said, If I ever thought about becoming a new customer, you helped solve that. I would never deal with a bank that doesn’t value customer service and is as rude as you were to me today. He said “good”. At that point, I had enough and decided I WOULD like to have my money back. It was now nearly 1:35 when I left the store. My intention is to make a complaint to his supervisor because I can’t imagine that I’m the first person who has had an issue with him.
