I have nothing but positive things to say about Merci Beaucoup. They hosted our rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter-in-law. The food was delicious from the appetizers, salads, main dishes, and the desserts. Sara Korkern(the owner) was extremely helpful with planning. The manager and server were also terrific. Great food and excellent service!
I love the location of this restaurant (very charming), but the only thing I really enjoyed during my meal was the house-made ranch dressing for my salad. The mini meat pies were good but were obviously not made in-house. The chicken dish I had with dirty rice was overcooked and dry, and the dirty rice was meh. Decor is sparse but the service was excellent. I probably won’t return unless they make some changes to the menu. It has typical tourist fare that isn’t that good and the wine list read like it was created by someone who doesn’t know how to select pairings for their menu items.
Great service, delicious food and a very comfortable environment. I had a big bowl of gumbo on a chilly day, my wife and daughter shared the seafood platter which looked amazing and my son had a cheeseburger. Everything was fantastic!
My grilled chicken salad was over room temp. Greens were bitter...1st & last trip
First time dining here and I must say I WILL BE BACK! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely amazing! Had the catfish platter mom had the seafood platter! Crab cakes and etoufee that comes with the seafood platter was to die for! Request Faith as your server! She was super kind and attentive!
