Usually I have a wonderful experience when eating at Sam's Eatery located in Bastrop Louisiana, unfortunately this visit was not as pleasurable. Our wait time was about 30 min for grilled shrimp. People that came much later than us were served much sooner than us. In case you were wondering, they ordered their food at the counter just as we had. Once all 3 orders came out. The first 2 orders was cold. The sides seemed to lack butter and other seasonings.....
During periods after last storms. Very good. Second trip that week. No power when left arrived back home( dance a little ) lights back on. Wow!!
Good sized and better than many no complaints az long as it stays the same
BIG shrimp, plump juicy fried fish, seasoned lightly not overpowering or extra thick (it doesn't hide the food!). Nice friendly service.
Great food for your money. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal.
