Staff was nice sams was clean but catfish was bad. 1st time to eat at Sam's Eatery. Not Impressed with food
Great food. They are limited at this time due to the snow/ice storm that recently shut the area down. I ordered to 2 fish/2shrimp/2 crab cakes w/sides. Awesome deal for $9.99. Fish was not greasy like some places (LGS/Capt D’s). Next time I am in the area, I will definitely come back and try something new. Thank you for being close to 3 truck stops. Drivers appreciate having a different choice from the regular fast food places.
They make great seafood, loved the pan fried prawns with onion and bell pepper. Crab cakes full of crab. Had rice n beans, mac n cheese, coleslaw, green beans.they were very good. Also german chocolate cake very good and fresh. The only things didnt care for toonMuch was smashed potato salad and their home made tartar sauce.
Great food and great prices. Definitely recommend. If you drive trucks or just a normal commuter passing through this a good quiet place to park and eat.
Order the chicken salad! HUGE! And very, very tasty. Pounds of chicken sauteed with onion and bell peppers over large salad. Could not eat half of it. So tasty! Always friendly staff
