Mass is said here reverently and in a quiet, pious atmosphere. The congregation is friendly and welcoming, and the celebrants are dedicated to performing their duties thoroughly and well. This is the only High Mass in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux at this time, and everyone should witness it at least once. Daily Low Mass is gloriously prayerful, too. First Friday and First Saturday devotions are celebrated here quite fully, beginning an hour before that day's mass, and those and all other rites taking place here cannot be recommended more highly. The building and grounds are humble but handsome, and the spiritual value of one's time spent here is perhaps the most complete available in this diocese. A must-visit for pious Catholics, those willing to deepen their faith, and anyone curious and respectful enough to appreciate the ancient, traditional rite.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel is a lovely place and the best kept secret in the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese for those of us Catholics who desire a return to sacred tradition and who strive to reclaim our fast-fading Catholic identity. Fr. Van Constant, the chaplain there, is a holy man of God and prays the Traditional Latin Mass with such faith and reverence that one cannot participate in without feeling anything less than edified.

Beautiful, reverent Latin Mass! Come away from the world and spend an hour with our Lord.
