Jeff Naquin does not care about the population of people living back of Labadieville.nnThroughout the years, I have called Jeff to ensure that the ditches back there are dug appropriately (especially during hurricane season), but it always falls on deaf ears. I believe I've only talked to him once, but have left numerous voicemail messages that have never been replied to.nnThis particular area floods every year, multiple times, due to the ditches being blocked from trees debris, etc. The drainage system isn't adequate and the infrastructure needs to be overhauled, but yet, Jeff doesn't feel the need to bring this area up to standards.nnIt's been way too long that he's been wasting space in this position. We need to ensure someone fills this seat that actually cares about EVERYONE.nnWe are all human, and it's time the police jury (especially for Ward 2), starts acting in a manner that represents that.nnI can assure you, the area Jeff lives in is probably well maintained and is in top-notch condition to take on flooding.
