The food was serviceable, if a little overpriced.
Looking for place for dinner in Helen. They had the menu on a sign out front – it looked promising, so we stopped in. We were seated quickly. Nearly everything in on the menu looked good.nnI got the Pork Loin Cordon Bleu Schnitzel and my wife got the Chicken Schnitzel w/mushroom sauce. They were out in about 15 minutes. Both were hot & tasty. Large portions: the meat was very flavorful and the potatoes were good too.nnWe glad we stopped by – we were full when we left (too full for dessert which looked good).nnWe’ll be back next time we are in Helen!
Super friendly staff and very authentic menu! Right in the heart of cozy Helen! There's outdoor dining options, too. I would definitely recommend. It's a great way to get a taste of the German environment!
From all the restaurants I've visited in Helen you MUST try this place! This is.my second time here. Their fried cheese appetizer is awesome. Goulash and cordon blue were well made and portions are generous. The potatoes they serve as a side are thin sliced and cooked to perfection!. Sauerkraut is also delicious (if you like it of course) and we tried in total 7 main dishes and were all great. Soft ice creams and strudel were savory as well. The attention was the best. You won't regret coming here!!!
We were seated right away. The staff are very friendly. The food prices are expensive but the portions are big. The location is cozy and easy to find parking spots. My kids liked their food.
