Reviews
Well this review is very late as I just had time to give them a review! But i sent two of my kids to Tomorrow’s Hope Montessori school for about 8 months. Everything was good, although Cheryl lacks people skills the owner Amir was a plus for her negative! Until the pandemic hit. It came at a time none of us saw coming and we had to take our kids out of school for their safety and because all schools had shut down. Well at first we didn’t know how it was going to pan out. So they would give us updates on the situation, and one of them was how they were going to continue our kids education, well for one Amir the owner of the school was being greedy at the time because everyone had paid their tuition but with 2 weeks and a few days left in the month our kids couldn’t go but they stated they weren’t reimbursing anyone for us not attending! He said he was taking a loss because he couldn’t pay teachers as they were underpaid! (In my head he just told me he underpays his teachers) but never the less i held a hr conversation with him about reimbursing me for mines and he went off on me as to why he couldn’t, he even said “YOU PEOPLE” making it about the color of my skin as to why I’m asking and with me being a business owner myself i knew we were all entitled to apply for PPP loan and give us some kind of financial blanket! He was very unprofessional and showed his true colors when it came to doing the right thing at the time because as he shut down we still had to go to work and my kids still needed child care for the time i had to go to work. I would not recommend this school to anyone because the lack of the morals and integrity within the owner of the school. He could’ve easily paid everyone their weeks back or offered it in the event of when they start back half month off (something compensating the loss of time) but he didn’t do any of that and had no plans of doing it! and when he used YOU PEOPLE as a reference he choose to racially profile me and use that as a way to say i shouldn’t be asking for anything back. Cheryl is no better here either as she knows what happened and sugar coated it for Amir. If you stand for the right things in this crooked and hateful world this is not the place for your child! My daughter had 4 incident reports about the same child pinching and injuring her. This is a real Review. And insult to injury he didn’t want to pay anybody back but got approved for PPP Loan after that. I hope he did the right thing by the other parents there. Because this pandemic affected everyone and every business. I say this to Amir and Cheryl, Morals and integrity go a long way running a business, You guys definitely lack that!!! Wish you guys nothing but the best though!
We moved our daughter into this school at the end of the summer and are nothing but pleased with her progression. She immediately bonded with her teacher and her teacher took on extra responsibilities to help my daughter. She loves going every day and asks on the weekend if she can go see her teachers and friends. We see her progression at home as we count, read, do puzzles, match items etc. We feel THMS is very responsive to our needs and definitely has the best interests of our daughter in mind. The owner leads by example and is always involved, the children and staff adore him and its obvious he truly cares about their development. I cannot say enough good things about this school, my wife and I are very happy we made the switch.
My daughter has been attending THMS for a year and a half now and we love it. It truly is like family here. We always feel so welcomed and comfortable and my daughter just loves the entire staff. The owner treats every child like his own grandchild. No one ever goes hungry here and his care is undeniable, along with the rest of the staff. We toured many schools before going with THMS and we have no regrets. The cleanliness and warmth is unparalleled. We love and thank the entire staff for taking such good care of our kids!
The only reason I am giving one star is because the facility is very clean and the teachers are very nice. Extremely unprofessional new Director, she is either on vacation, goes home early or busy on her cell phone. She does not have the etiquette to talk to a parent. The owner is very accommodating and assures that my child is taken care of, the director is always rude and lacks affection. To be in a child care business, one MUST be able to reassure the parents about their child being in good hands. The previous Director would always be there in her office to answer any questions my wife and I had. We will only be dealing with the owner going forward, if we choose to stay in this ill managed school. Wife and I are writing under Anonymous because we don’t want our child to suffer for the few days we have left
Disclaimer: For anyone to leave a review that is less than five stars, I strongly question what exactly they are basing that opinion on because anything less than a total veneration for this school, in my opinion is malicious and completely inaccurate. No, I do not work for the school, I do not have a personal financial investment or interest, nor have I been asked to leave a review or being compensated for a five-star review for those that may be questioning it (I blame Amazon for fake reviews). I am a real mom who's child has been attending this school for about 5-6 months and my husband and I are extremely pleased with the education and practical life lessons our daughter is receiving.nnWhy do you care about my review? Because luckily for you, I have done the research for all of you! Parents, if you are not sure where to send your child, if you have to go back to the workforce, if you want more socialization for your child, if you are looking for an actual specialized, highly researched and proven methodology of training young children, then you will immediately enroll your child into this school.nnFurthermore, if germs and illness give you pause, have no fear because they are the first that I have seen in any school that I have been to or toured that has a specific industrial-sized, hospital-grade sanitizing machine that will kill off even the most stubborn of germs and viruses that seem to run rampant in daycare and school settings. Let's face it, kids can be gross. The schools is a huge advocate for a clean environment and they ensure the kids are washing their hands multiple times a day. My daughter comes home and tells us she needs to wash her hands now.nnAre you still reading this review? If so, Bravo! I can be long-winded, especially when writing about something I am passionate about; especially our kids. Because let's face it, the old adage it takes a village is absolutely true.nnI do not purport to be a child expert or have a history in education, I have a psychology background and work in the medical field. What I implore all of you who are questioning what school is a good fit and what can they do for your child, reach out to them, go on the tour, ask the questions, or save yourself some time and take my word for it.nnHow do I really know? Good question. We actually moved here from out state and wanted to send our child to the BEST school. I read the reviews, I went on many, many tours all while being 7 months pregnant with my son while my husband was up north working and selling our house. I enrolled our daughter into two private and very popular schools (Goddard and Primrose) both came highly-recommended, had good reviews, tours were good, etc. The first she was in for literally two months.... The second almost a year. Honestly, I should have pulled her sooner, but I was hopeful that they would take my concerns more seriously. I ended up giving both a 30 day written withdrawal notices and with the second one, ended up leaving work early one day to pull her out immediately due to another incident that occurred, but I digress.nnIf you made it to the end of my review, my final advice would be to click on the negative reviews from other reviewers and see how many other less than stellar reviews/comments they leave; it could just be that nothing is ever to their liking....nnFrom a real-life working mom and parents of a Tomorrow's Hope Montessori Student.nnKeep up the great work Mr. Amir, Mrs. Roya, Mrs. Kamani, Mrs. Hira, and Mrs. Cheryl!
