I had an appointment today and it was a horrible experience . Though my hair stylists gave great service , the manager of the facility is beyond nasty and rude . She walked around like a big bully , she has people skills to work on . I would not recommend this place

As a touring musician, you get used to running around and things being hectic. You yearn for a relaxed environment, without any excess drama where none is required. I had the most delightful time here with KC the stylist. I would choose him for sure if you’re looking for a specific recommendation.nnI’ve done a shoot with Vogue and a feature in Essence recently and I would feel confident having KC from Mink Little on my team any day! He is personable and professional and has a very apparent heart of gold which to me and my piers is more valuable than any other superficial quality that gets many other stylists ahead. It speaks to the quality of the management that they had the foresight to have someone like this with his own room there, pride of place. To put personalities like his to the fore is a great business model. I will definitely book again and again- take my money!!nnThe space itself is great! Contemporary, well equipped, and wonderfully secluded from view so the more shy types can get their hair done in some privacy. All in all an utter joy! I can’t speak to anyone else there as you know each stylist is their own person but I can speak only well of the beautiful space of Mink Little and the talent of KC.

So I made an appointment on January 17, 2020 for Melissa for January 20, 2020 through the Booksy app that she tell me. This wouldn't been my three appointment with her. I had bad feeling about making after the second. She over price me for second appointment. I believe that beat me out my money for my second appointment. I sent her the full amount of$75. She sent text in asking me when my appointment on the same day as my appointment. Then she tells me the shop is close. I told to her cancel my appointment and refund my money. On my second appointment she did my nails and left at shop. I have never seen so much unprofessional business before . All i want is my $75 back. Won't sendbno one her way.

If I could give this shop no stars I would. I went here on January 10, 2020. I went to get my nails done by Melissa also known as Princess. When I got there at 3:30p I sat until 4:38p before she even came to acknowledge me. I got her information off Instagram. I was not thinking this was going to turn out bad at first. Then when I explained to her that I needed my current nails soaked off, she took a look at them and went to pour some soak off acetone in a bowl and told me to soak and she would be back in 30 minutes. I sat for another hour until 5:30p. When she finally got done getting her wig out in by another stylist, she cane and realized she needed to drill the top gel coating off so my nails could properly soak. I was frustrated but calmly ask her how much longer did she think this would take. She couldn’t give me a time stating the product that was on my nails currently she didn’t use. She purposely took another hour.. yes that’s right another hour to try and slowly file (yes a hand file) the current acrylic off my nails. Did I mention to even get an appointment you have to CASH APP her $25 which she refused to give back. I ended up leaving because she was talking on the phone cursing, face timing someone, and soooo unprofessional. She even cut my pinky finger nail too close to the cuticle which started hurting and bleeding a little. I would never recommend this nail tech or place to anyone. Only recommendation I would give is the barber that was on duty. He was dope with the hair cuts and also professional. I have pictures of my hands when I finally walked away 3 hours later and old acrylic still there. No apologies or nothing. She didn’t even care. Oh did I mention it was her birthday so she used that as an excuse to take the $25, make me wait instead of canceling, and damaging my hands.
