I took a 7 8s call at the airport on nights. We worked a 40, a 32, and then a 24 hour week. When asked for my layoff because they weren't meeting the hours promised, the superintendent wanted to fire me and put me not for hire. No worries, they're on MY not for rehire list.

Uptime Electric was owned by partners, one black, one white. They do a great service to Atlanta and have a big presence in South Atlanta and the airport. The black partner passed away. I know the owner and during an ice storm several years ago, my neighborhood lost power for several days. The power to our area could not be restored until the service wires, that were downed by ice and trees, were repaired. I called Uptime, and a truck was sent to our area. They fixed not just one residence, but several, and power was able to be restored later that day. And to make the situation better, not one person was sent a bill. Zero dollars, all of this done by the goodness of the person in charge of Uptime Electric. Philip Claborn

Add approximately 3:10 PM, March 5, 2019, up time electric truck 1503, illegally past another vehicle in the breakdown lane on 285. Then in acknowledgment of his actions, he proceeded to give the driver of the vehicle he illegally passed and cut off, the middle finger. Both the recklessness and the lack of professionalism shown by the employee while representing the company does not instill confidence; but rather discussed.
