I ordered hair from this company on 5/7/2020. I ordered 20”, 22”, and 24” Indian wavy bundles and a closure. The website states to allow 7-14 business days for shipping. I was certain that I’d have my hair in time for my 5/27/2020 hair appointment. Sadly, I contacted the company the week prior to my appointment to inquire about the shipment of my hair. I was told that due to the pandemic, they are unable to retrieve their shipment from US Customs at this time. I then requested a refund to which I was told is not being offered (although there’s no refund policy on the website). The man told me that I will have to file a dispute with PayPal if I want my money back although he’s well aware that a) he can’t deliver the product b) the PayPal dispute process is time consuming. While I do understand that Covid-19 has affected the ability to receive certain products from vendors overseas, I don’t understand why Temple Hair Wear would continue to sell hair that is “in stock” online knowing that there’s no definitive delivery date for the foreseeable future. The vast majority of businesses and schools have temporarily closed down, or halted the sell of products they can’t deliver since the second week of March due to Covid-19. It is rather greedy to continue to sell products that cannot be furnished as promised via the website. There’s not a single Covid-19 disclaimer on the website informing customers of the potential delivery delay. Therefore, as a customer, I had no way of knowing that they did not truly have the hair available. To date (6/9/2020), I STILL have not received my hair. I began a PayPal dispute to which the owner refused to respond to. I have now been forced to escalate my claim with PayPal. It is such a shame that I’ve been reduced to having to write a poor review.
