Bean Counters Bookkeeping

I'm surprised and somewhat disappointed in the previous reviews. Don't people have anything better to do than bad mouth companies if perhaps they don't understand accounting? Anyway, I've had a wonderful experience with Bean Counters Bookkeeping! They offer great service, professional advice, and the entire team is willing to step in and work together on anything you may need. Highly recommended!

Beancounters almost destroyed my business!!! Its unbelievable. They actually forgot to do my taxes! My story is incredibly long but just know that I would not hire them to do accounting services for a lemonade stand. Anyone who has questions about their services can easily find me I will tell you my story.

First off let me start by saying I have been a CPA for 20 years. I have worked for the largest firms such as E&Y to the smallest including my own.nnI choose Bean Counters after speaking to the owner and feeling I had a personal touch that I may not get at a bigger firm. The owner was great at first providing my company that personal touch, even though it didnt seem there was any brick and mortor store, just someone working remotely or at least without someone to answer the phones.nnAfter they started growing and picking up more business my account was transferred to multiple people causing me to explain transactions that should not have had to be explained a second, and a third time.nnAfter asking the owner to personally handle my account she ensured me she would handle my account again, but after a couple of months, transferred my account again to someone else who didn't know our account.nnShe blammed it on her company's growth but her new accounts could have been assigned to her new staff and she could have kept her word by maintaining our account.nnAfter I complained about her changing my account to another one of her employees, I was sent a less than professional email trying to explain the constant flipping of my account. She even denied agreeing to work on my account personally, but I had the proof on an email chain and she had nothing else to say.nnI stated that I no longer wanted for her company to handle my account after the year-end work was complete.nnShe responded in a similar bitter way refusing to do our 2017 1099s on January 13, 2017, leaving us to have the scramble to get them done. This was very upsetting because they had offered and asked for the additional information needed (addresses and SS#s) a week earlier before we complained about the transferring of our account to multiple employees.nnTake my advise and just use a CPA firm that is established and has their own write-up or bookkeeping department, this is what I have done. This firm will only give you below par service for the money, they couldn't even get our payroll working so we had to switch to SunTrust.nnAnd just one last note.....to the person who gave them a 5 star review and accused me of not knowing accounting. I am a CPA...not a bookkeeper...... with 20 years of experience. But it is nice to know their employees or friends will write a nice review for them.
