I put $2500 down on a 2000 Ford F-250 truck yesterday. Andy and his son's biggest selling point was the low mileage (150k) and it being a one owner vehicle. They even have it advertised on the website. This morning, I noticed that the odometer had never changed from the initial reading yesterday. When I called Andy this morning and told him about it, he gave the excuse of vehicles over 10 years old not having to report mileage. That is indeed true. However, not informing customers off a non-working odometer and ADVERTISING inaccurate odometer readings is unethical and a crime. After doing some quick research and consulting with an attorney I was advised to take the truck back and ask for a refund before filing a civil claim. They intially feigned ignorance of the issue and told me that I bought it As Is. Once I started letting them know that what they were doing was illegal they offered to replace the odometer with one from the junk yard. Then offered to reduce the price of the vehicle, which they claimed couldn't be done during the intial price negotiation. Andy eventually convinced his son that it would be best for them to return my money. Minus a $59 fee for them issuing me a drive off tag. I went to file a civil suit today for the remainder of my money. These folks are crooks. I'll never do business with them again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
