Z Beans Coffee - Mercer Village

Great coffee shop. Their sandwiches are nice. Service is excellent. I also enjoyed the amount of space they had available to sit.

Continuously making improvements. Clean, following COVID protocols, outdoor seating. Food is good, drinks are good.

Great local joint for coffee. Right on campus. Love their treats, especially the Apple Fritters!

I frequent this location typically in the mornings and the speed of service is usually fast and everyone seems dressed appropriately. Unfortunately this morning that was not the case. It seemed like normal morning business but there were only 2 working and while the woman at the register was clearly doing the best she could, the orders were slow to the point where it seemed like one man almost left with his food and almost forget he had ordered a drink.nnThis event occurred around 8:40 am today. While the speed of service can be forgiven and understood, I had a concern for the attire of the woman at the front. The person making the food was wearing a hat and her hair was kept under the hat so as to keep any strands from falling. The woman at the counter with VERY long blond hair did not have her hair pulled up into some form of bun and she only had what looked like a blue scarf very poorly wrapped around it. I didn’t order any food but with hair that long I’d be concerned for her to even handle drinks since she does not have her hair done in a controlled manner. The service here is always A+ but this attire issue could be a detriment to the business. Not sure if she was training or what but I would definitely get everyone with hair of that nature in a hat and at least have it kept up where strands could not be so free flowing. I’ve often seen men working in the shop with low cut hair or ones with longer hair in hats and I don’t see why this person wouldn’t be following what seems like a rule....

Tried the Vanilla Soy latte. AMAZING.
