Reading these other reviews is making me question my southern upbringing! I love this place. I think with all buffets you need to go right when they open and everything is fresh. But their fried green tomatoes are top notch. I think they’re doing a pretty great job with the Covid protocols as well. I was very leery of going to a buffet during this time, but I figured if I was the first person in it would work out OK. It did! I’m definitely going to go back.nnMy only complaint is about the desserts. They used to be really great, but now they taste like they have been frozen for a long time, and you can taste the freezer in them.nnOh, and I think I would much prefer a traditional broccoli rice casserole. You can make it with Velveeta... that’s on my mama made it. Cream of mushroom soup, etc. It’s pretty easy! It freezes well too. Just a tip on that.

I get take out. Food is very good and a good selection to pick from. The people there are very nice and helpful. I suggest trying it out!!

Great food, and even better people running it. Everyone is so kind, they play Christian music, keep everything clean and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. My husband and I go almost every Sunday after church and love them so much that we even had them cater our wedding. They beat out the prices of any other caterer and gave us SO MUCH FOOD! They offered us 3 main dishes, 5 sides and 2 desserts; but when they realized I hadn't asked for any appetizers, they brought some for me free of charge! We paid them just to set up our buffet for the reception, but they stayed and WAITED TABLES for us, making sure everyone's drinks were full and tables were clear when they were done. We had so many people complement the food as we had a traditional holiday style buffet and boy was it DELICIOUS! Now every time we come on Sundays they treat us like family and always greet us with a smile. These are great people serving great food to a great community. I applaud every single person at Joys Home Cooking for making every encounter so pleasant and enjoyable. You will always have my business!

I would not go back. The place is clean, but if you want hospital food this is the place to go. Everything tastes like its out of a can

Had a nice father daughter date there this evening. My dad always brags about this place so i finally went with him. We ate good and had a good time. Not real fancy but cool calm environment to eat.
