New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum

Just guess I was disappointed in dairy building closed, playground closed, barn closed, demonsrators not being able to demonstate their craft, no artist shows, no indoor play area and lots of displays not out because of darn covid and a Liberal Governor.......glad I live in Missouri! I love the "normal" Farm and Ranch Museum, the way it was! I DIDNOT think Masks required outside were AT ALL necessary.....foolish really.....its OUTSIDE!

Fascinating museum with lots of historical value. I personally love the greenhouse too. You can buys plants there so inexpensively! There are all kinds of cows and ranch animals. I enjoyed seeing old wagons and stage coaches. There are also very interesting indian exhibits. As you enter museum be sure to look high up in the beams just outside to see the two resident owls!

This is the perfect place for an outing with the family. The exhibits are fascinating for adults, interactive and meaningful for little ones and big kids alike. They have an outdoor play area with sand and tanks trucks, swings, and picnic tables. Another outdoor playground by the animal and dairy barns, and an indoor adventure corral for hot or rainy days. So much for kids to do! The whole museum gives you a real feel for the cultural and history of the area. I can’t say how much I love and appreciate this place!!

Attended cowboy days with kids and grandkids, had a nice time. Attended several of the events all were good including the melodrama. Nice museum. Pic shows the blacksmith making nails. 👍😊
