StarChild Academy Winter Garden

Great school, teachers and administrative team. I feel comfortable taking my son here while I’m away at work. Katrina and Teresa are great and will resolve any issue. Would definitely recommend.

I have 2 children that attend Star Child Academy and I have been pleased with this Academy. Ms. Katrina, Ms Crystal and Ms. Milly are absolutely amazing and do a phenomenal job running the school. Whenever I have had a concern or issue, my concern was immediately addressed. No school is going to be perfect, but this school strives for perfection and Star Child provides a great learning environment for my kids. I love that this school is academic focused because my kids can play when they get home. My 2 year old has learned so much from his teachers. I am amazed by what he comes home and knows about. One review stated that this school is not flexible and I wholeheartedly disagree with that. In my experience, they have been really flexible. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare or private school in the Winter Garden area. Star Child is worth every single dime. My favorite classrooms are Infant A and Toddler C. The teachers in these classrooms are top notch. I feel like I am dropping my children off to family members when I take my kids to school. My oldest son also loves the food at this school and I like how they accommodate all of my son’s food allergies. My son is allergic to a lot of things and I have never had to pack a lunch for him. I am convinced that the Chef puts something magical in her food because my son will eat whatever she cooks. Overall, you should send your child here. Lol

Great daycare.

Such an amazing school. I am a true believer in the the accelerated academic process at this school. My son has been at this school since he was 9 months old he is now getting ready to start 4th grade. He excels in every academic area at least 1 or 2 grade levels above his current grade. I love how the school continues to grow, adding other activities and events for parents to get involved and for the students to explore things other than academics. This past year events like the Santa shop, the father daughter dance, the mother son event, are just a few events that prove that this school has a healthy balance of fun and academics. Miss Lisa and her team of Elementary school teachers have the biggest hearts and the most creative brains. They def get 5 stars in my book.

This place is wonderful. My wife and I and extremely grateful for the teachers that look out for my son and also to the team in the front office that are always there. We enrolled him 2 months prior to his 3rd birthday to develop his social skills and help with his speech. It's been 7 months now.nThe first 6-7 weeks was a nightmare for him as he had extreme separation anxiety issues. When they opened up a smaller class - Preschool C, he was able to move to it. Now his class is bigger, but it doesn't bother him as he feels comfortable with his lovely teachers. He gets so much affection from his teachers and care providers - that is what was needed. He's always so happy during school.nI trust Star Child Academy! They understand how to handle kids...even the more challenging ones like my kid when he enrolled.nMaybe grateful is an understatement. There are no words really how much I appreciate them. Maybe this review will settle some parents nerves when enrolling their kid.
