Montverde Academy

Our daughter is in her 6th year at MVA. She is benefiting from excellent academics, and pre-covid, from various activities as well. But if you are considering the school, just be aware that tuition increases every year by 2-3 times the rate of inflation, the parent association is controlled by the school and no criticism is allowed, the character and integrity encouraged in the students is not displayed as they walk around campus, and it's as clique-y and entitled as you'd expect a private school to be despite their profession of having students from all socio-economic backgrounds. When the waiting list to get in is long, none of these things are probably a concern for the school. For us, it's a balance given the options for where we live, and again, the academics are very good.

It's sort of like a feudal estate. Pretty buildings, though.

Went there for 8 years amazing teachers, bad higher ups only seem to care about basketball over anything.
