It’s a charming campground mid-Cape. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are all back-ins but have picnic tables and fire rings. Love the historic homes and village souvenir shops.

Just got back from 15 days here and it was a great time with family quiet and relaxing. Very attentive staff clean bathrooms staff picking up trash daily. Would of enjoyed the pool being open but we still had a blast great location

Quiet. Well kept. Friendly staff. All amenities closed due to current restrictions.

People are friendly. Great location. Central to all attractions on the Cape. Not much available for amenities- the pool is empty (not due to CoVid), playground is shut down (because of CoVid), and recreation hall may as well be non-existant. I can't comment on public showers/bathrooms because I didn't use them. No activities for children on the campground, but plenty in the surrounding area.

I am only giving this campground 3 stars because of the staff. They are what make this campground remotely decent. Otherwise, this is a 1.5 star campground.nnWhen we arrived, I thought Google was wrong. We were pulling into an old trailer park. It looked nothing like any campground we have ever seen. It was narrow tightly packed roads, which was fun pulling a 33' travel trailer through. We arrived at our assigned site and just laughed. I can make my trailer fit anywhere, but would not have been able to open our slide and awning at the same time. Who knows where I would have put my truck. The staff allowed us to search around for a different site, which they had plenty of available options (odd for 4th of July weekend). We chose a secluded site at one of the campground ends to be out of the heavy campground traffic and to have a bit more space. The site was absolutely horrendous, but we knew that going into it. It was on a slope and had small drop offs etc. It was apparently an old seasonal that was recently removed. I carry a ton of levelers and jack blocks, but we didn't have enough to fully support our camper. Luckily, I found some old cinder blocks stacked up by the woods. It took two stacked on one another to reach my extended stabilizer jacks.nnThis site had water, electricity, and sewer. It also had a nearby pay wifi access point. The pay wifi wasn't great, but it was $10 for 3 days. We had adequate ATT cell service and used our own hot spot most of the time. We did not have a fire pit in our site, but were able to request one upon arrival. The great staff found one for our second night. We only used it once though and spent the rest of the time in the camper.nnBeing in the campsite was not enjoyable for us. We're NH people and used to camping in the mountains etc. We don't typically care about bugs and spend most of our time outside our camper. We enjoy cooking and eating outside, sitting by the fire, and just enjoying nature. We could not do that here. The cockroaches and spiders were so bad, you couldn't sit still. If we sat by the fire, we would have them crawling up our legs etc. If we moved anything in our campsite, they would scurry away. We found them climbing all over the outside of our camper and on anything we put outside. I am concerned about what has made a home in our camper and plan to fumigate it.nnThe campground location is OK. You're about an hour from P-town, 30 mins from Nauset/Orleans, 10 - 15 mins from the closest beaches. All of the beaches we visited were pay, but they were great. Lots to do and see. There's tons of mini golf, restaurants, and ice cream nearby. We pretty much did whatever we could to stay away from our campsite. The state beach day passes gets you access to all of the state beaches, so you can spend a long day seeing everything.nnWe don't plan on ever coming back to this campground, but we did enjoy our trip.
