Charlotte Harbor YMCA Preschool

I have nothing but good things to say about this center! Over the past 4 years, My children have attended the Y and been cared for from newborn age to preschool. My kids LOVE going to school everyday! The staff are all professional, personable, and trustworthy. My kids think of the staff as an extension of family, and that speaks volumes to their character. I have peace of mind knowing that my kids are safe, happy, and cared for in my absence. Thank you YMCA :)

Great school to bring your grandchildren to the teachers are very nice. They do an awesome job.

I can't say enough about this school. My daughters were loved and well taken care of, but most importantly, they were SAFE! I can't say enough about this preschool!!

How is this place still in business?!? Let’s forget the fact that there are news articles online (google it) about children being locked in closets awhile back. Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a “daycare!” I still feel guilty for sending my son here. He was dirty every single time I picked him up. He was sunburned on several occasions, even after I provided sunscreen for him. When I asked them about it they had the nerve to say his cheeks were red from playing! Really?!? The kids were ALWAYS outside when I picked up and dropped off. And this was in the middle of JULY. But hands down my last straw with this place was when I had picked my son up and we were on our way home and he starting screaming and crying out of nowhere and said “I’m a bad boy!” He kept repeating this over and over again. His father and I NEVER use that word to describe our children. I was heartbroken, furious, and in “Mama Bear” mode at that point. There was no use in confronting them, best thing was to remove him immediately. Protect your babies, STAY AWAY from here. Pay a little more, do your research and find a safe place for your children. One star is too many for this disgusting place.

This preschool has been the perfect fit for my child! She absolutely loves her time there and the staff are overall AMAZING. Denita, the director, has done a fabulous job with this preschool and I couldn't feel more comfortable dropping my child off here every day.
