I graduated from chamberlain 2014 with my BSN, and from my many years of experience I feel like chamberlain has prepared me in becoming an excellent nurse in my field. Nursing is a tough job and with the materials they provided to me I was able to excel and learn to critically think. No waiting list, no recommendation letters, just an entry exam. They provided us with mock codes, SIMS labs, check offs on nursing skills, good clinical experiences and so much more. Chamberlain is expensive but it was worth me pursuing my dream. Thank you Chamberlain University.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. Chamberlain is an institution that does not care about their students and is money hungry. I should have listened to my gut about this place. The atmosphere is a facade into manipulating you to think they care about you but at the end of the day they just care about your check. Let me start off by saying that the tuition alone is $675 per credit hour (normal bachelors degree is aprox 122 credit hours at this school) and in addition to the insanely high credit hour charge this school has the audacity to implement a STUDENT SERVICE CHARGE which they raised amidst a global Pandemic. So not only are students unemployed or are working less to make time and prioritize their educations, they are now responsible to pay an additional fee. Chamberlain is the only school is its surrounding area that has not allowed their students to return to live clinical setting and their attempt to replicate the experience is videos and allowed patients to simulate in lab. The simulation forces the students to work in groups of 3 students to 1 patient. This is not realistic and is setting the future nurses up for failure. This school should have accepted that they were unable to uphold a credible education in this precedented time instead of setting up students for failure in their future and dragging them into tens of thousands dollars in debt. The school is made out to be a students centered school and this is not true at all. It is almost impossible to get in contact with an advisor or someone in a similar position. All in all, Chamberlain is probably one of the worst schools in its surrounding area and should be an absolute LAST resort of a school to attend.

I don't know why others have left bad reviews about Chamberlain, but my experience was VERY different & I apologize to those that didn't have a good experience. Coming from another nursing school, Chamberlain was a breath of fresh air. The staff is extremely caring and wants you to succeed. The students are also for the most part interested in your success & towards the speciality classes, everyone becomes family. Especially since the class sizes are small. Like any other nursing school, it will be tough and you will have to self teach yourself. But the great thing about Chamberlain is that they have so many resources available you just have to ask! I recently graduated December 2018 and passed NCLEX on my 1st attempt so everything that I am saying is fresh and accurate. At Chamberlain, you are never alone. You just have to also have a go-getter attitude and you will succeed. I will definitely keep recommending Chamberlain! :)
