The great thing about going to JFK from where I live you have the option to go to Forest Glen Middle. If you aren't satisfied with the school, do research to find out your options. This will you put your in a better environment. If a school is not accredited you have the right to pull your child out of that school.

I went here a long time ago. I still have nightmares about this place. They put me in all Learning Disability classes with kids who were very mean, and who were on a completely different learning level than I was. I was constantly fighting for my life. Ms. Rumper (RIP) completely ignore the horrible things those kids did to me. Teachers didn't care. Principal didn't care. There was a lot of poverty and crime back then. But it looks like the area is finally starting to catch a break. I hope that this is some indication of improvement.nDear Parents, if you have kind, sweet children, and you're zoned for JFK, please consider moving or homeschooling. JFK is probably the harshest environment in Virginia (and it's a school!). Where every day is a battle. You're kids don't deserve this. Do not settle. Be proactive.

it is the funnest and greatest school i have ever been to. There are a whole bunch of fights which makes it even more interesting. The teacher Mrs. Lirette and Mr. Huxford are the worst though. They get one everyone's nerve and take their jobs waayyyy too seriously. Like Mr. Huxford won't let you go to the bathroom at all and will make every test like an SOL. He will tell us to shutup and won't expect to get yelled back at. Mrs. Lirette just makes it so that barely anybody can get an A in her class. All the other teachers are ight, but I personally wish these 2 would hurry up and retire. If they don't retire now, I hope they get fired.

I used to go to this school, but unfortunately I had to move. I had lots of friends that went there, it was very fun
