My family member recently had a total loss of their beloved car. It was a 2007 Dodge Caliber. I helped them search and search nationwide. We drove to 5 other locations ranging from NC to VA. We were just about to give up when I found Harris Auto Select. I couldn’t believe our luck that we found the same model of car but newer a 2010 with low miles and at a very decent price. I immediately contacted the location and spoke to a gentleman named: “Joe”. He is the owner of Harris Auto Select and he was very professional, pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and honest.nnFrom the moment that I contacted Joe on a Friday, he explained to me that someone elese had an appointment to see the car. He asked me to call him back within an hour to see if the person would take the car ud83dude98. I called him back within an hour and he explained to me that the person left a deposit and that he is waiting on the car to be financed. I told him I was disappointed ud83dude1e but I completely understood that it is only fair that the 1st customer takes priority and I told him the Dodge Caliber was the only car that we wanted. Joe completely understood and told me that if for “whatever reason the car could not be approved for finance, he would call me immediately”. Joe gave me his personal cellphone ud83dudcf1 number.nnOn Monday, he contacted me with a follow up and told me that the financing for the car did not go through with the 1st potential buyer. At the time of my call with Joe, I was currently at another car ud83dude97 dealership looking at another car and I had left a deposit. I originally told Joe that I was at another lot but that I really liked his car better plus I was 4 hours away from his location. Than, I thanked him and declined. An hour later, I had this gut feeling that the car I put the deposit on for my family member at the other car dealer in Virginia Beach was a mistake. I went on BBB.org and found hundreds of complaints concerning the cars, mechanical issues, title issues and overall poor customer service and selling “LEMONS”.nnI immediately contacted Joe back on his cellphone and asked him, if he can hold the car for 1 more day so that myself and my family member would drive to him and test drive the car ud83dude97. He even honored my original purchase price since he was updating the price that day.nnThe next day, my family member and I drove to Strasburg, VA, we test drove the 2010 Dodge Caliber for 20 minutes and purchased the car from Joe. The 11-year old car that we purchased is very clean, the interior is great and looks like new, the car has new tires, was well maintained by the two prior owners, has ZERO ACCIDENTS and has an impressive CarFax which includes: a history of our 2010 Dodge Caliber prior car inspection logs, oil changes and any other service logs from the original dealership. Joe is very prompt and professional. He addressed the concerns with the car quickly. He has a nice selection of affordable, quality used vehicles and he is very easy to work with. Nice family run company. We will be back to purchase our next car from him!

Purchased a 2010 Honda CRV with incredibly low miles for a very fair price. The only complaint I have is that the dealer doesn't do anything to the vehicles after acquiring them. The oil needed changed, the tires needed rotated, the brake pads needed to be replaced. However after bringing these concerns up with the dealer, he did flex some on the price. As a customer that's about all you can ask for. They were forthcoming with Carfax and readily available during the pandemic for an inspection and test drive of the vehicle. They took face coverings and sanitation very seriously while I was there. Overall, for a used car dealership I don't have any complaints. They're responsive, respectful, and they have a very nice inventory of notoriously reliable vehicles with incredibly low mileage for fair prices.
