Beautiful shops and restaurants on a unique walking mall closed to car traffic. Visit in the summer with the kids and a change of clothes to take advantage of the splash pad. Eat outside at one of a dozen delightful restaurants, enjoying the sounds of local musicians playing guitar, trumpet, or sometimes violin. In the winter there used to be carriage rides down the mall and one restaurant roasting chestnuts on the North end. Visit the first Friday of the month for live concerts and entertainment or to go shops open after dinner!
Little slow on a cold Monday in March but still an awesome feature in this great little town. This country needs more walkable areas like this!

Beautiful historic town to visit. Lovely local stores and restaurants including spots for dessert. Great place to walk around and explore.
