I love this gym. They have a wonderful staff with helpful and knowledgeable trainers and instructors. There’s always a smiling staff member to greet you at the door. Also, they work very hard to constantly keep it clean. I feel safe and excited to come everyday. Plus, the building interior is beautiful. My kids also love the kids club area and staff.
The general manager is such a sweetheart! Always helpful and willing to solve any problem you may have. The staff is also very nice. Love coming to this gym.
Signed up a month ago and it’s been great! The Norfolk location off 21st street is incredibly welcoming and Mariah, the GM, was amazingly helpful getting me signed up and showing me around the facility. Speaking of which, there’s so much space and choices in terms of equipment it’s great! Seriously can’t beat it. Even better, in these covid times, there’s always a presence of a cleaning crew, which puts me at ease. They are consistently cleaning different areas and dumbbells. Which I haven’t seen at any other gym I’ve been to. Would highly recommend anyone thinking about signing up. Great price, great value all around!
Been a member for several years now and of all the One Life locations in Hampton Roads that I've been to, this one stands out. They are definitely in an older building and it shows, but as far as the equipment and the staff they do the job well. We've had issues with them in the past over certain events that have happened, and each time they've resolved it or helped us understand why something happened the way it did. Also, whenever a machine breaks, they have it back up and running usually pretty quickly (all depends on the part order, but for the most part it hasn't hindered anything in my view). If you're in Norfolk and looking for a gym, this is the place to go.nnAlso, outside of Covid times (since I haven't used it during Covid), the kids care team is excellent as well.
The no gym bag on the floor socks. We have weight belts gloves writs guards all what we need while working out. It was all good but guess the new intermin Manger wants to micro manage. Planet fitness even.lets you have a bag on the floor. No one likes this rule. Poll your clients and find out the truth.
