I love running laps here but the used condoms every where is disgusting. Also I don't recommend going there alone. Some shady characters show up every once in a while. Would speculate drug deals or random to cheap for a hotel hook ups. Oh and a lot of people walk their dogs there too.
Very reflective. To walk the grounds where many American lives were lost and to see the actual earthen structures and fortifications where they fought.
A nice little Park/battlefield. Neat to still see the field works.
I applaud Chesterfield County on creating the Ware Bottom Battlefield Park. The Ware Bottom Battle was an important part of the Confederate attempt to block the advance of the Union army. i am sure that a lot of people are ignorant of Civil War history and would prefer to have every battlefield and monument completely removed and or bulldozed for modern development.
Short but many informative signs. Earthworks erected by the CSA soldiers degraded but very much visible
