It's very well maintained. Well marked.nA good paved trail with a 4 mile round trip walk. The trail is mostly flat.nThere are plenty of places to sit along the water as well as a free little book exchange.nFor those who care or need it, the Port-O-John is large & easy entry.nThere's also a boat slip with plenty of parking.
Nice paved trail for running or walking. Right next to the Appomattox river. Trail is flat and very well maintained.There is an entrance to the trail behind Holiday Inn, Colonial Heights, as well as parking.
Great place to take the family, if everyone went to the bathroom beforehand...
A great 3-mile walk down the river.
Bit dirty with litter but still a nice walk to go take.
