A big shout out to the Hummingbird Bistro for their outstanding service and food!!! Donnie Owen and his Hummingbird crew catered my son and now daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner on September 13th. They served 40 people a menu of steak & cheese subs, broccoli salad, pasta salad, baked beans, chips and cherry delight. The food was exceptional! In fact, many guests said the sandwich rated right up with the best cheese steaks they had ever eaten!!! Guests thanked me over and over for contracting the Hummingbird Bistro for dinner. Everyone was more than pleased with their dinner and the kindness shown by the Bistro staff!!!nSusan Anderson

Very good food! Cheaper than a lot of the other local restaurants as well. They are open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and some Saturdays when there are events or the fall festivals, etc. There is a good selection, some favorites are the breakfast burrito, the lunch quesadillas with homemade salsa, and of course the pulled pork sandwiches. I'd say the smoked wings are my favorite, but be very careful or bring a bib, if you get them sauced it's gloriously messy! The menu changes from week to week, follow them on Facebook or pop in and check the chalkboard if you want to know what is on offer. Also, the various desserts are pretty incredible, I'd definitely recommend the sticky buns! Good, local, and seasonal. Can't beat it. They do catering too!
