Just had the worst meal at this Cracker Barrel. Service was good. Not saying anything bad about my waitress. She was just as good at her job as could be. She has no control over what the kitchen sends out. And I'm not a complainer by nature. But had the waitress asked me if something was wrong. I would have told her. But she didn't. And if the cashier had asked me if everything was okay. I would have told her. But no one asked. So I never said anything. I realize that was my fault. Maybe they were trying something new. I don't know. But grilled chicken and dumplings! Aren't anything like I have had before! And not wanting to try again. And just wanted to share my experience! You be the judge.
I’d give more than 3 starts my food and server were amazing, but I’d suggest never come close to closing because they clean up while you’re still eating. I wasn’t done eating and one of the staff members stacked the chairs on the tables very loudly and then did some mopping and then took the chairs down very loudly. I wouldn’t mind maybe If she had apologized or given a warning but really dude.

Always a great meal and friendly staff
So so so so good! Country fried steak ud83dude0b buttered corn ud83eudd29 and pinto beans (almost perfectly salted). The server was polite and vigilant. Just a great atmosphere to relax and eat in.
