Branchester Lakes

Good sized apartments for the area and the parking is very convenient. The staff is wonderful! They really do work to rectify any issues you may have. Close to highway access and commutable distance to Richmond and the tri-city area.

I changed apartments from one bedroom to a 2 bedroom within this apartment complex. On moving into the two bedroom, there was a big patch(es) on the carpet at the staircase. A friend of mine told me it will be ridiculous to have them fix it because it was at the staircase. I wasn’t really bothered about it too.nImagine my surprise when the apartment billed me for the repair, after I moved out! The apartment did not fix a new carpet in the living room and staircase when I moved in, despite the fact that the rug (and all parts of the apartment) was old and worn out.nMaking me pay for what they didn’t give me when I came in!nAt some point, there was always something to fix every fortnight.nIn fact, my sister who just relocated from a different state was house hunting but didn’t consider Branchester Lakes because the apartment was falling apart. I am so glad that she didn’t.nThis is not the place you want to live, they will come up will a bogus claim when you move out and rob you off your security deposit.nFinally, there is always something to fix. Every week or thereabouts because the place is literally falling apart.nnUpdate 02/25/2021nThey still have not paid my security deposit. The management responded on google as if they were trying to resolve the issue, but they did not.nBranchester lakes management, are you really trying to rob me off my security deposit???nI cannot and do not want to come by your office. Send my check with the right amount please. You cannot fix your apartment with my money, it is not right!

Very nice, spacious 2 bedroom place that come with a balcony, internet, cable, washer dryer, and fireplace. There are also kid and dog parks near the pool and workout room. Maintenance is very timely when I have minor issues (light bulbs going out, ect.). The office staff is very friendly and responsive. They have little holiday gatherings for the residents in the office. Everything looked great when I moved in. It's near many stores, restaurants, and the highways. There are also many churches near by to visit. I'm very happy with this complex.

My sister (L) lived in this apartment. The apartment is falling apart. They also refused to pay her the security deposit. In fact, they deducted more than 400 dollars to fix the carpet in the apartment that she did not ruin.nThey also act like they will fix the problem when you leave a comment on their review. They won't.
