I really enjoy how personal and friendly the staff is when it comes to assisting with the equipment and certain exercises. The facility is clean and they are doing a great job keeping in compliance with the Covid guidelines.

Amazingly remodeled facility in downtown Petersburg, VA. The place has a pool of course, two tracks, one indoor and one outdoor (1km~), basketball courts, weights, cardio equipment and a variety of workout classes. Sadly, nobody wants to make babies with me but YMCA provides childcare. I feel a Y membership is much more than a gym subscription, it is a lifestyle. The organization does not enforce the C in the acronym but they try to set a christly example in the way they conduct business. The staff are kind and helpful folk. Shoutout to Marcus. This Brother has like 30 college degrees and chooses to help his community by being wellness director or something. If you are new to the area or a Y member passing through---looking for a workout please stop by.
The staff is very friendly and outgoing. The pool areas are clean. And the group classes are amazing!
I love the Petersburg why. The swimming classes are great. The therapeutic swimming classes I even better. The exercise rooms are amazing. They have rooms for children that especially for them. They have a lot of space for you to sit and talk and Converse with each other.
