A nice little campground. We had water and power. It was clean and there was a little gazebo. Each site had a picnic table.nThe staff were really friendly and easy to work with.nThe only improvement might be repainting the numbers of the sites. They are a little hard to read, especially at night.

Great location to visit with our daughter, son in law, and newborn granddaughter; and stay in the RV Camp minimizing disruption of home life with their first child. The DSCR/DDRV installation is about 8 miles from their apartment in Richmond. Plenty of pull-thru room for our A-class RV, trailer and SUV. A super quiet post with lots of warehouses, a collection of military aviation artifacts displayed here-and-there, and a unique history that accounts for a small herd of elk still in residence.

Quiet little campground. Very roomy. No sewer connections. 50A electric and water. When calling, keep trying if no answer. Voice mail is not returned.

Used to be military (had to have ID to get in gate), but on their page it appears they are now open to civilian as well?nnWe have stayed here numerous times over the years while visiting family nearby. It is quiet, but no one on site to help with issues on weekends or after hours. In fact, it is pretty much a ghost town at night. Nothing actually on site as far as gas, food, etc. No bathhouse or showers, although there is a gym somewhere nearby -- not sure if you can use those during work hours?? It is right off the interstate, however, so if you don't mind going offsite, there are restaurants, etc. nearby.nnWhen we stayed, the rates were quite a bit lower; not sure if the lack of amenities and oversight -- and no sewer-- warrants $30. Good news is that we have never not found a site here, in spite of there being only 6 sites.nnThis is a great place for a quick overnight stop, right off the interstate.nHowever, if you are looking for a little more, the state park only a few miles away is gorgeous, has camp hosts to help with your needs, bathhouses/showers, and is competitive cost-wise.

Very nice place, easy access on and off highway. Multiple times trying to contact MWR over the phone. No one was there most times. We were the only ones there. We actually stayed there without having paid because there was no one around to check in with. When we left Monday morning we were finally able to get through again and paid for our site over the phone.
