This afternoon at lunchtime I was given a friendly greeting by Liz at the Hotel Weyanoke front desk who directed me to the entrance into Effingham's to the right. From there LaShanna immediately offered a friendly greeting. I asked to sit at the bar and ordered a Classic Chicken Caesar salad with no croutons and iced tea with lemon. The vibrant salad greens came out beautifully, and the grilled chicken on top was so fresh it still had steam coming off of it! The Dijon Vinaigrette dressing option sounded delicious, so I requested it. It definitely tasted fresh and had just the right tang! Do you enjoy eating high quality fresh food cooked to order? I would definitely recommend trying Effingham's!

Always enjoy eating here. Nice wine and cocktail list. Food is elevated classics, nice but not fancy. Easy to get a few dishes to split. The pizza has a wonderful crispy crust.

Great food and friendly staff. Smoked salmon crostini is amazing, the whole menu is great. Very nice atmosphere.
